Detailed History |
Vincent Valentino had the opportunity to face Reaper for his strap, and came out victorious. Both men battled back and forth with weapons ranging from their fists to a pizza cutter! The match came to an end when Valentino choked Reaper with a bat wraped in barbed wire while locked up in a STF!
Nothing can begin to explain or describe what Vincent Valentino and Bubba Love did to one another in the Stairway to Hell match for the HWF Extreme Title. The ropes were replaced with barbed wire for starters... and that's pretty much all that needs to be said. Their bodies were pushed to the brink of unrecognition, but Bubba Love survived, and was able to wrap the HWF Extreme Championship around his waist.
It was the first Pay-Per-View that Hostility held since reopening in August, 2008. From day one, plans were in motion to name the Extreme Champion. Week after week, men were pitted against each other in various types of matches designed to test the limits of one's body and soul. In the end, four men stood out from the rest, and were entered into an Fourway Extreme Title Match. Bruno Ziegler, Marshall J. Graham, Joseph Equinox, and Tyson Evans walked down to the ring that night... Evans was the only one to walk back out under his own power. That is why he is the new Extreme Champ.
During the Aversion Title match at Misery II, the longtime rival of then Aversion Champion, Nathan Paradine, made his debut here in Hostility. Videos had been airing each week with a sort of countdown, and when it reached zero, out came Cody Williams to make an immediate impact. The next week, it was Tyson Evans who made an impact on Williams by aligning himself with Paradine. This all led to Williams first ever match in Hostility a week later... a match that ended with Cody Williams being crowned the new Extreme Champion.
The story here is the same as that of the Aversion Title, only with a small twist. Cody Williams had been feuding with Nathan Paradine, and Tyson Evans, leading to a Triple Threat Match at Aggravated Assault. The stipulations were, that if Paradine won, he'd get the Aversion Title. If Evans won, he'd get the Extreme Title. In the end, Paradine scored the victory, leaving the Extreme Title around Williams' waist, but not for long. After the match had ended, Williams suffered a brutal beatdown from an irate Tyson Evans, which then led to the surprise appearance of AirStrife. AirStrife had earned himself a shot at the Extreme Title during a match earlier in the evening, and seeing an opportunity, he cashed it in. After taking out Evans, AirStrife then turned on Williams, eventually pinning him and being named the new Extreme Champion.
What an amazing run it was for AirStrife. Quite possibly the longest reigning champion in Hostility history, the face-painted risk taker sat atop the Extreme Division for a whopping 18 weeks. However, as the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end'. And on April 6th, at the 27th edition of Hostile Violence, the end did come. Tripp Whipwreck made his return to Hostility after a few weeks away, and immediately made his presence felt, as he dethroned the the King of Highflying. Now with a man made for Extreme at the helm, who knows what kind of craziness is in store for Hostility, and the Extreme Title.
It's hard to believe that a man as sadistic and twisted as Tripp Whipwreck could ever drop a title seemingly made for his style of wrestling. However, at Hostile Violence #30, the unthinkable happened. A Triple Threat match pitted Whipwreck against two relative new comers in Hostility, with the Extreme Strap on the line. Ronnie McNeil had finally turned things around, and a title win would certainly shoot him up the ranks. And in the other corner, Roxy Monroe, in only her second match, looked to become just the second ever female to hold a title in Hostility. When all was said and done, it was in fact, Roxy Monroe, pulling out the victory, earning the 'Punk Rock Princess' the more appropriate title of "EXTREME PRINCESS".
South of Heaven was a wrestling even filled with the most mind boggling matches possible, and none more so than the Extreme Title match. Tonnes of steel, scaffolding and fire spewing equipment were combined to test the limits of five of Hostility's craziest wrestlers, and it did not disappoint. The match had many big names, including the current Champ, Roxy Monroe, and former Extreme Champion, AirStrife. However, it was the man that declared war on the Extreme Division, 'Beautiful' Bobby Dean, that made the biggest splash, as he walked away (or rather he fell back to Earth) as the new Extre... err... Beautiful Champion.
Two weeks after the groundbreaking Pay Per View, South of Heaven, Hostility went ahead and raised the bar once again. Dubbed "Roulette Night", management randomly selected competitors and match stipulations hours before the show was to take place, cutting down on preparation time, as well as adding intrigue to the show. There were many strange match ups, and many surprises during the night, but one of the biggest was the announcement of Bobby Dean being forced to defend his 'Beautiful' Title against the masked man, Hooligan. In the end, Hooligan proved to be more prepared, and or more focused, and came out of Roulette Night as a champion... an Extreme Champion.
Never being one to take a loss sitting down, Bobby Dean quickly put his rematch clause for the Extreme Title into effect, and three weeks after winning the Extreme Title at South of Heaven, and one week after losing the title to Hooligan at Hostile Violence #35, Bobby Dean found himself back in the ring for a shot at a title he felt he should have never lost. With both men being more prepared for the battle at hand, the match was much more even and tight. In the end, Bobby Dean managed to reclaim the Extreme Title, and before the blue spray paint could be completely removed from the title, the 'Beautiful' Championship was reborn.
Misery III was the be the feather in the cap of Bobby Dean. Leading up to the event, he had been standing atop the Extreme Division, molding it into his own 'Beautiful' playground. Dodging challengers, enlisting help wherever he could, it looked as though Dean would truly erase 'Extreme' from Hostility forever. Back to Misery III. Dean was set to defend his Beautiful Title against Tripp Whipwreck and Johnny Murphy... well, forced to defend is more like it. In the end, Dean managed to stave off both contenders, and retained his title. However, Tripp Whipwreck had other ideas, and following the match, he took advantage over the battered and bruised Dean, and stole the Beautiful Title. He then renamed it the Extreme Title, bringing it back to it's original state. Was it a true Title win? No. But since President Milenko hated Dean so much, he let it slide, and Whipwreck was named the new Extreme Champion.
Ever since stealing the Extreme (Beautiful) Title from its rightful owner, Bobby Dean, Tripp Whipwreck has been a marked man. Dean has thrown everything he has at Whipwreck in hopes of retrieving his Title. Attempted deals with President Milenko, who despises Dean... sending his Industry buddies after Whipwreck... hiring his own ring crew... Dean was at wits end, when all of a sudden... he got his wish. An Extreme Title match at Hostile Violence #49. Putting forth an extreme effort (even though Dean would rather describe it as a beautiful effort), he squashed Whipwreck to reclaim the Beautiful Title.
At one time, Bobby Dean and Steve Harrison were rivals. Then, however, in a twist of fate, the two became closer and even joined together with 'Sexy' Simon Marks to create 3GLS (3 Good Looking Studs). But then, tragedy struck when the car, driven by Marks, careened off the interstate and crashed into a tree. Both Dean and Marks were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Harrison, however, was to spend many weeks in unstable condition. Eventually, it was discovered that the crash resulted from tampering with the automobile by Tripp Whipwreck, who all along, had been in the hunt for the Extreme/Beautiful Title held by Dean. Weeks passed, a whole month went by... and finally, Steve Harrison made his return to Hostility. The only thing on his mind... Revenge. Not against Whipwreck, not against Dean... but against everyone. Now in cahoots with Dream Wrestling Management, Harrison has vowed to make sure a tragedy much like his own befalls Hostility Wrestling Federation. His first step... going after his former partner, and Beautiful/Extreme Champion, Bobby Dean. At Aggravated Assault, Dean defended his title against both Whipwreck and Harrison, and in the end, it was Harrison who stole the victory, and seemingly has stolen the Extreme Title from Hostility.
